Weak Points are special locations on enemies that are vulnerable. When Weak points are targeted, the enemies receive additional damage on top of the existing damage value. Different enemies have different base damage multipliers. Usually, the multiplier is 1.5x, without considering weakening effects of acid, support, special anti-health damage types, and canceling effects of elemental damages.

Weak point damage multiplier can only be increased by getting inscriptions that change the value. Unlike all other damages inscriptions, which are additive, weak point inscriptions are multiplicative.

Trivia (May Contain Spoilers

• Defeating enemies by striking their weak points will reward the Freelancer with Weak Point Striker Feat. However, for the feat to be counted, the final strike must be dealt to the weak point.
• Weak Point Inscription is a special type which provides multiplicative bonus to the damage done, instead of the usual additive. So stacking it will be beneficial to obtain the Weak Point Striker Feat.
• Weak Point damage may be considered to be the equivalent of "Critical Damage" in other games.
