Bosses are the toughest type of enemies during expeditions. They have a larger health pool, numerically, but not necessarily in term of the health bar pips. They can be of various sizes depending on where or how they are encountered. Defeating them will grant a Legendary Slayer Feat.

Stronghold Bosses

Currently, there are four stronghold bosses that can be encountered in specific instanced locations or during the end of a stronghold.

• The Monitor (Transcendent Form), found in The Heart of Rage Stronghold and The Heart of Rage Seasonal Expedition
• Swarm Tyrant, found in Tyrant Mine Stronghold, Tyrant Mine Seasonal Expedition, and No One Likes Spiders Conjunction
• Scelos, found in the Temple of Scar Stronghold and The Temple of Scar Seasonal Expedition
• The Unfathomed, found in the Sunken Cell Stronghold and The Sunken Cell Seasonal Expedition

Cataclysm Bosses

Currently, there is only one cataclysm type expedition called Echoes of Reality. This has a special boss arena, who, unlike the stronghold bosses, can be encountered at anytime when inside the cataclysm.

Named Bosses

These are named enemies encountered during the end of certain missions who act as bosses of the expedition. They have a larger health pool than their regular counterpart. The storyline will not end without defeating them. not all named enemies are bosses. These enemies are masterminds behind the activities that take place during these storylines:

Secret Bosses

Several Secret Bosses can be summoned during various expeditions. Defeating them will yield different types of rewards. These enemies will have a target above their title plates. All these are either Legendary Enemies or Apex Enemies
