Known Creatures

The following are all the named Fauna, Chimeras, Shaper Corrupt Creatures, Weaponized Creatures, and Elementals of Bastion who have made at least one contribution or have been mentioned in passing within Anthem or its related media. The list will be updated when more information becomes available. The mentioned people have been a part of the Royal Family at least once in their life.

Noteworthy Creatures

Below is a list of named creatures who are noteworthy, but not prominently portrayed.

Ardek

Ardek is an Anrisaur who was sick during Icetide. So his friend Kogin went to look for a cure from the Frost Fellow in the story Korox in the Box.

Brownie

Brownie is the grabbit that plays Detective Hops in the radio play of the same name. Brownie is quite popular and won the Radio Drama Award for outstanding achievement in a drama for the role as Detective Hops in 467 LV.

Brownie's voice-over can be heard in the various radios scattered around Fort Tarsis, if they play Detective Hops Mysteries.

Gent

Gentleman a.k.a "Gent" is a Grabbit that belongs to Gwynn. Gent has an unusual ability where the number of times his ears twitch indicate a special scenario. Two times means he's hungry. Three means danger.

Grabbit (Tessi the Tesilar)

Grabbit is the name of a Grabbit character from the children's tale Tessi the Tesilar.

Javelin Breaker

Javelin Breaker is the name given to the Titan who destroyed nearly everyone in the first expedition to silence the Heart of Rage. With great effort, Freelancer Trapper was able to put an end to it. In the death of the titan, its heart solidified into a Corium crystal. This sample was brought back to Fort Tarsis and is on a display in the Fort Tarsis Freelancer Enclave among other trophies.

Kogin

Kogin is a Korox who went about searching for a cure for her friend Ardek from the Frost Fellow in the story Korox in the Box.

Koko

Koko is another Korox from the children's tale Tessi the Tesilar.

Kori

Kori is a Korox from the children's tale Tessi the Tesilar.

Swish

Swish is a grabbit owned by Lancy who likes sweets. She begs treats from javelins. Swish was lost when she ran away from seeing the storm cloud in the sky which became the opening to the Echo of Reality.

Tessi

Tessi is a Tesilar and the protagonist of the children's tale Tessi the Tesilar.

Wiggles

Wiggles is the name of a Saurian owned by Sayrna. Wiggles and Sayrna were off-leash training, and it was great until a girl walked by them with a sandwich. After this incident the Sentinels deemed Wiggles to be too dangerous and so, Sayrna had to let it free.

Encountered Creatures

The following are the various creatures that the Freelancer encounters throughout their journey.

Ancient Crystal Guardian

Ancient Crystal Guardian was a large Dominion Fury that revealed itself after the smaller Crystal Guardian was defeated while looking for resourced for Doctor Harken to enter the Echo of Reality. It also resonated with the crystals. Fighting this Fury was particularly tough because the Freelancer had to destroy the large Shaper Crystals so that reinforcements could not be gated in.

As the resonance and battle with the furies continued, the crystals randomly began to explode, sometimes freezing the Freelancer. Eventually, after destroying the crystal clusters, the Ancient Crystal Guardian was also defeated, allowing the Freelancer to collect the transtator for Doctor Harken.

Ancient Ursix

Ancient Ursix was a large Ursix who ate a Cypher Link that Dax was searching. This Ursix revealed herself when the Freelancer went deep inside the Sovereign Mine scouring for a moving link. The Freelancer defeated the Ancient Ursix and all other Ursix that came to her aid. After defeating her, the Freelancer also had to dig through her wastes to recover the link.

Bane Titan

Bane Titan was one of the 4 Titans that walked across Northern Bastion for an unknown reason. The Freelancer stopped this Ancient Ash Titan from wreaking havoc over the region.

Crystal Guardian

Crystal Guardian was a small Dominion Fury that guarded a Crystal Gate that was being used by the Spear Battalion to enter the Echo of Reality. It guarded the large Shaper Crystals that grew in the Serpent's View district under a Storm Cloud. The Freelancer, on a quest to collect a Transtator for Doctor Harken, defeated this Fury, even when it was resonating with the surrounding crystals and causing them to explode.

Doomsday Titan

Doomsday Titan was a large Ancient Ash Titan that was spawned by the Doomsday Relic. It was a monumental effort to stop this enemy as the only way to do that was to shut silence the Shaper ruins with echoes, whilst dealing with the Titan.

The Freelancer had a choice to either silence the relic first, which would put an end to the Titan instantaneously, or to defeat the monster and then silence the relic.

If the Freelancer chose to do the latter, the Doomsday Relic spawned additional Lesser Ash Titans until it was silenced, adding to the difficulty. The Freelancer, with the guidance from Sentinel Brin was eventually able to defeat the Titan and silence the relic.

Havoc Titan

Havoc Titan was one of the 4 Titans that walked across Northern Bastion for an unknown reason. The Freelancer stopped this Ancient Ash Titan from wreaking havoc over the region.

Hoarder

Hoarder was one of the two Dominion Furies that guarded the two keys to unlock the Shaper Door leading to the Cenotaph Ruins inside the Heart of Rage. The Freelancer fought them both and was able to recover the keys to open the door and press forward to confront the Monitor.

Keeper

Keeper was one of the two Dominion Furies that guarded the two keys to unlock the Shaper Door leading to the Cenotaph Ruins inside the Heart of Rage. The Freelancer fought them both and was able to recover the keys to open the door and press forward to confront the Monitor.

Nameless Behemoth

Nameless Behemoth was a large Ancient Ash Titan that was spawned by a Shaper Relic inside the Spires Anomaly through a conjunction. This Titan was spawned due to a Shaper Disturbance. Fortunately, the Freelancer was able to silence the relic while dealing with a Suppression Field. However, the Nameless Behemoth still gated in forcing the Freelancer to end this monster during the Season of Skulls Festival of 468 LV.

Riftmaster (Dominion)

Riftmaster was a large Dominion Fury that withheld the access to the rift hovering above Diana's Landing in the Echo of Reality. When the Riftmaster revealed itself, the rift turned dark, removing the safety bubble, and became stable so that it could not be damaged. After the Riftmaster was defeated, the rift weakened again.

Ruin Titan

Ruin Titan was one of the 4 Titans that walked across Northern Bastion for an unknown reason. The Freelancer stopped this Ancient Ash Titan from wreaking havoc over the region.

The Bane of Freemark

The Bane of Freemark was one of the two Dominion Furies that was gated in near the inert Doomsday Relic when the Dominion and Scars tried to steal its fragments. The Freelancer, along with the help pf Barr, Andrin, and Brin fought this Fury and put an end to its misery.

From its name, it may be one of the two Furies that chased Jani into the Cenotaph Ruins during the Battle of Freemark.

The Pride of Frostken

The Pride of Frostken was one of the two Dominion Furies that was gated in near the inert Doomsday Relic when the Dominion and Scars tried to steal its fragments. The Freelancer, along with the help pf Barr, Andrin, and Brin fought this Fury and put an end to its misery.

From the name of the other Fury, this one may be one of the two Furies that chased Jani into the Cenotaph Ruins during the Battle of Freemark. This also sheds some light on a settlement in Stralheim called Frostkeln.

Titan (Hidden Depths)

Titan was the alias given to a Lesser Ash Titan that guarded the Treasure Chest containing scrolls in the Hidden Depths of The Vault. The Freelancer defeated this enemy and was able to collect the across that gave information on the whereabouts of the Elysian Manuscript.

War Titan

War Titan was one of the 4 Titans that walked across Northern Bastion for an unknown reason. The Freelancer stopped this Ancient Ash Titan from wreaking havoc over the region.
